Hi all I want to root my uk wifi only XOOM tomorrow but after looking round I am a bit confused as to which method to use

Basically I want to over clock my XOOM to get the best out of it so this has to be taken into account when I choose the right process to do

Can someone give me some links to follow, if possible a uk user that has'done what I want to do

So far I think I need to root using the any method any update Then i need to load a custom rom on???

Anyone who can give me some links so I feel more confident ?

I am running uk wifi only XOOM on :
 Android version :3.2
Firmware config version: GAS_EMEA_UCAHUBLWFRTCOREEU_P013
kernal version : 2.6.36.3-00042-g3c1a41e a7301c@il93lnxdroid47 #1
 Build number: H.6.6-23

Hope someone can help me out

Hi

I am a uk wifi only xoom owner and I took the plunge today and rooted my xoom. All has gone well with the process and I am now the proud owner of a tiamat rom with their latest kernal (can't remember the name) with over locking capabilities of up to 1.7ghz

One problem though - it aoears that my xoom is now a USA xoom. I say this because I have an update prompt for HTK55D and my market is now showing all apps in $$$$$

Not the biggest problem in the world's more of a small annoyance. Is there any way I can re-localize my baby to be a uk xoom?

You will most likely have to find localized ROMs and kernels.
