I´ve read somewhere that motorola has not released an update to use the micro SD or something like that, but we can download an app that enable the micro sd. Im not sure what happens, thats why im asking here. First of all, what actually happens?! and there is any app that solves this problem?!

Hey Khassy, thanks for your answer, but i didn´t get it. Im from brazil and i have a poor english, so I don´t know whats a "rooted device", im sorry, but could anyone explain to me?

Edit: I´ve just done a research at internet and i found out something.

So, if i am right, if I don´t root my xoom ( i dont even know how to do it) I wont have any problems with the SD card?!

Do i have to root my tablet to change it´s background?

You can change the background easily. Just click the + in the upper right corner and choose Wallpapers. You can load your own by connecting it to your computer via USB.

As far as rooting, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without a massive amount of research. Basically, I'd recommend just waiting until HTC rolls out the update that allows access to the SD card.

Okay, but if i get a xoom tomorrow and put there a SD, I will be able to use it?! Or will i have to wait this "HTC update"?

In canada I just received upgrade 3.2 I now see my external sd card but how can we transfert app from the internal card to the external one I have an app that keeps telling me I can transfert this app to my external sd card but I can't figure out how to do it I am brand  new to the tablet world    thank  you anybody that can help me

In this version of Android, you can't transfer apps to the SD card. Just music, movies, etc. I know, I went insane trying before finding that out. lol

Hi, I have a XOOM with 3.2 out of the box, and have just received a SanDisk 32gb micro SD. This has been inserted and mounted but it shows as read only. Any ideas how I make it writable, as far as I know it is formatted out of the box. Cheers for any help folks.
